I hope you have a wonderfully Merry Christmas this year Carolyn. Extend my wishes to your family also. We will likely not have the snow, but boy do we have the ice! Your place looks beautiful in the snow.

Thanks, Donna, Merry Christmas to you and your family. It’s going to be 70 degrees today so no white Christmas here. Carolyn

Carolyn,
Do you have any Sherwood Purple phlox stolonifera in stock? I could plant them since the ground is soft.
Please advise,
Thanks,
Elizabeth Janoski

Sorry, Elizabeth, no Sherwood Purple until spring. Carolyn

A very Happy Christmas to you and your family Carolyn, you have a lot of snow, do you usually have so much?
December 22, 2013 at 3:32 pm
Christina, It has been a long time since we have had snow before Christmas, and this year we had five snowstorms. Unfortunately, because I like snow, the temperatures have risen into the high 60s F and it all melted. No white Christmas here. Enjoy the holidays, Carolyn

The snow scene looks beautiful. We’re setting heat records this weekend. Today was 77F but will be cooling off tomorrow. Merry Christmas!

Pbm, we are having the same. It was supposed to be 70 but only reached 63. My camellias are coming back into bloom, which is a silver lining? Merry Christmas. Carolyn

Hello Carolyn,
Happy Christmas to you all, and thanks for some excellent blogging over the last few years,
Julian and Fiona
December 22, 2013 at 5:41 pm
Julian and Fiona, Glad you enjoy my blog, and I always look forward to reading yours although my nursery business keeps me too busy to keep up all the time. You will be amused to know that my husband knows you as my Welsh friend as in “my Welsh friend says….” Merry Christmas, Carolyn
December 23, 2013 at 3:30 am
Hello again, Carolyn,
Thanks for that. But for clarity, it should really be ‘ my friend from Wales’ … Both Fiona and I were born on the ‘wrong’ side of Offa’s Dyke – a point we never considered until we’d been here a while. Hence my ‘Outside’ musings …
Happy Christmas, or as the TRUE natives would say, Nadolig Llawen !
Julian

Well I am glad you approve the friend part even if its only virtual. I will adjust my phrasing accordingly when mentioning you to my husband.
